Ana’s practice concentrates on counseling private and public companies in a variety of corporate and commercial matters, including new company formation, representation of companies and investors in angel/seed and venture capital financing, representation of buyers and sellers in private and public companies mergers and acquisitions, ’34 Act reporting, corporate governance and negotiations of various commercial agreements.
Since 2010, Ana worked as a solo practitioner at Aljuri Ventures. Prior to that, Ana was a corporate attorney with DLA Piper LLP in its Silicon Valley office, where she focused her practice on corporate and securities representation of public and private companies, with a special focus on mergers and acquisitions and public and private securities offerings and venture capital financings. Before working at DLA Piper, she was a corporate attorney with Greenberg Traurig LLP, in its Boston and Silicon Valley offices.
Ana is a member of the Bar in California and though formerly licensed in Massachusetts, she no longer practices there.
Ana holds a JD from Suffolk University Law School in Boston and a masters in tax law from Boston University Law School. She is a native of Romania and is fluent in written and spoken Romanian. Her undergraduate degree is from UC Davis, where she majored in international relations and minored in German. Ana has conversational fluency in Spanish and German and a deep desire to become fluent in French.
