Clayton McDonald

Clayton assists clients with entity formations, equity and debt financings, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.

Clayton received his J.D. and M.B.A. from Santa Clara University. While in law school, Clayton served as an intern for Commissioner Hester Peirce at the SEC and as a legal intern for Reserve, a cryptocurrency startup. He also participated in the Entrepreneurs’ Legal Advising Clinic, where he provided pro bono consulting services to startups and small businesses. Clayton earned his B.S. from the University of Oregon. 

Outside of work, Clayton enjoys rooting for Bay Area sports teams, going to the beach with his dog, and playing board games. 

Clayton is admitted to practice in California.
