Cristina Chirica

Cristina counsels angel and institutional investors, as well as early stage and established companies, in a variety of corporate and intellectual property transactions, including entity formations, equity and debt financings, general corporate governance, strategic investments and asset sales, stock option plans and issuances of securities, technology and licensing agreements, and mergers and acquisitions.

Some of the firm’s clients that Cristina has worked with include VMware, GoodRx, Personal Capital Corporation, Industry Ventures, X/Seed Capital, Mighty Capital, Bay Grove, UpLift, Taiwania Capital Management, EDB Investments, Blueboard, and Greencard Pictures.

Cristina is licensed to practice in New York and California. She holds a J.D. from the UC Davis School of Law. She served as Judge Recruitment Chair on the law school’s Appellate Advocacy Board and participated in the Irving Kaufman Securities Law Moot Court Competition in New York. She also received a Distinguished Editor Award from the school’s Business Law Journal. Prior to joining M&H, she interned at the United States Bankruptcy Court, Northern District of California, and for the in-house counsel of a Silicon Valley company. Cristina holds a B.A. from UC Davis, where she completed majors in Economics and International Relations and a minor in Managerial Economics and was invited to join Phi Beta Kappa.

Cristina is fluent in Romanian and conversational in French.
