Kyle’s experience consists of over a decade of corporate and securities law practice in the Silicon Valley together with an additional 2 years practicing abroad in Tokyo, Japan as an expat with a U.S.-based international law firm. He works extensively with emerging growth companies and the investors who fund them, focusing primarily on formation, corporate governance, venture financings, asset sales, asset purchases, stockholder and voting agreements, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and employment and equity issuance and repurchase matters. Kyle’s clients have ranged from small technology and cryptocurrency startups to angel investors to massive investment banks and everything in between. During his time in Tokyo, Kyle primarily represented Japanese clients making investments into American companies as well as American clients establishing, funding, operating, selling, and liquidating joint ventures and subsidiaries in Japan.
Kyle holds a B.A. from the University of California in San Diego and a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a member of its Science and Technology Law Review. In addition to California, Kyle is also admitted to practice in the State of Washington.
